I absolutely loved this book. It’s kind of a slow burn, but it’s impossible not to like the protagonists and Clementine’s world feels rich and inviting. It’s poignant at times, since grief is a prominent theme (for loved ones but also for ourselves and the people we thought we would be). The prose is really lovely at times and always engaging. I’m sad I’ve finished it, to be honest, but the best thing about books is that they can be revisited as many times as we want.

Read this with my book club- charming, slow burn and the characters developed nicely. Cute way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Made me want to put on a pair of jeans and sit in the sunshine :)
