As alliances within the courts shift, Lunelle is invited to the Plutonian Court alongside the rest of the Inner Court monarchs to discuss the Plutonian Prince's sudden ousting by the Solar King and the Outer Courts.

Tensions abound both in the Plutonian Palace and outside its walls, where Nova Rebels aim to take advantage of the regal presence and convince them to join the revolution against the gods themselves. Lunelle finds herself caught between doing what is right and what she wants-politically and romantically, as her eye is drawn to unexpected places.

Courting Death & Desire is Rift's older, steamier sister, documenting the events that occurred out of the Lunar Court's sight in the faraway Court of Death. Allegiances will forge and fall apart, often in the same breath, as Lunelle explores what her innermost desires can show her about leading her people into a war that is sure to shatter the realms both Between and Living.
